Rose Quartz Tumbled 3cm - Light
Naturally tumbled Rose Quartz in a 3cm size, selected for a lighter, very pale blush to near-white tone with a high-gloss waxy finish. Each stone varies slightly in shape and the degree of pink colouring, with these pieces sitting at the lighter end of the Rose Quartz colour spectrum. A popular choice for crystal collections, display bowls, and gifting.
Rose Quartz is a variety of macrocrystalline quartz (silicon dioxide) coloured by trace amounts of titanium, iron, or manganese within the crystal lattice, or in some specimens by microscopic inclusions of a pink fibrous mineral called dumortierite. The pale tone of these stones reflects a lower concentration of colouring agents within the crystal structure. Unlike most quartz varieties, Rose Quartz rarely forms well-defined crystals and instead occurs in massive form within pegmatite deposits. Major sources include Brazil, Madagascar, and South Africa.
