Rose Quartz Tumbled 2.5cm - 3cm
Naturally tumbled Rose Quartz in a 2.5–3cm size, displaying a soft blush to pale pink colouring with a smooth, waxy lustre characteristic of this variety of quartz. Each stone varies in the depth of pink tone and degree of translucency, from near-opaque milky pink to a more translucent blush. A popular choice for crystal collections, display bowls, and gifting.
Rose Quartz is a variety of macrocrystalline quartz (silicon dioxide) coloured by trace amounts of titanium, iron, or manganese within the crystal lattice, or in some specimens by microscopic inclusions of a pink fibrous mineral called dumortierite. Unlike most quartz varieties, Rose Quartz rarely forms well-defined crystals and instead occurs in massive form within pegmatite deposits. Major sources include Brazil, Madagascar, and South Africa.
