Naturally tumbled Natural Moonstone in two size options — 1.5–2cm and 2.5–3cm — displaying a rich range of dark grey, charcoal, taupe, and warm brown tones with a silky adularescent sheen that shifts across the surface as the stone moves in light. Each piece varies in colour balance and the intensity of the sheen. A striking and less commonly seen variety of Moonstone that offers a more earthy, grounded palette than the classic white or peach varieties.

Moonstone is a variety of feldspar — specifically a potassium aluminium silicate belonging to the orthoclase or adularia group — whose characteristic adularescence (the floating, billowing light effect) is caused by the scattering of light between alternating layers of albite and orthoclase feldspar within the stone. Natural or grey Moonstone displays this same optical phenomenon in darker, more muted tones, with the body colour ranging from dark grey and charcoal through to warm taupe and brown depending on the specific mineral composition. Major sources include India, Sri Lanka, and Madagascar.
