Dog Tooth Amethyst Tumbled 3–3.5cm

Creamy white bands cut through deep purple in these Dog Tooth Amethyst tumbles, creating little peaks, ribbons and zigzags within the polished stone. Some pieces show broad pale sections, while others are richly purple with fine white lines. That contrast makes each tumble a miniature study in pattern.

Also commonly called Chevron Amethyst, Dog Tooth Amethyst combines purple amethyst with white quartz in distinctive banded formations. Both are varieties of quartz; the alternating colours reveal successive stages of mineral growth. Tumbling softens the outer shape while leaving those angular patterns visible inside.

In crystal traditions, Amethyst is associated with calm, intuition and clarity. These patterned tumbles are a lovely choice for a meditation collection, a crystal bowl or anyone drawn to the contrast of purple and white quartz.
