Agate Tumbled Blue 1cm - 2cm
Naturally tumbled Blue Agate in a 1–2cm size, displaying a deep cobalt to navy blue body with a high-gloss finish and subtle banding visible on some pieces. Each stone varies in the depth of blue tone and the visibility of the characteristic agate banding. A striking choice for crystal collections, display bowls, and decorative styling.
Agate is a microcrystalline variety of quartz (silicon dioxide) characterised by its fine-grained texture and distinctive banded patterning, formed through the deposition of silica-rich fluids within cavities in volcanic and metamorphic rocks. Natural Agate occurs in grey, brown, cream, red-orange, and black tones. The vivid blue colouring of these stones is the result of colour enhancement — a standard and widely accepted practice in the agate trade, where natural grey or white agate is treated with dyes to produce consistent, saturated colours. The treatment is stable and does not affect the stone's durability.
