Mahogany Obsidian Tumbled 2.5–3cm

Mahogany Obsidian Tumbled Stones are a beautiful and distinctive variety of natural volcanic glass — each piece displaying the characteristic deep black base swirled with rich red-brown mahogany tones that give this stone its name. Smooth and polished, pieces in this lot range from 2.5–3cm.

Like all Obsidian, Mahogany Obsidian forms when lava cools rapidly, creating a naturally occurring glass. The warm red-brown colouration comes from inclusions of iron and magnesium within the stone.

In crystal traditions, Mahogany Obsidian is associated with grounding, inner strength, and releasing what no longer serves — a stabilising stone said to encourage self-worth, steady confidence, and a clear sense of personal power.

Each piece is unique in its natural mahogany patterning and colour distribution.
