A 500g lot of small Desert Rose formations, each displaying the characteristic rosette-shaped clusters of sandy beige to warm tan gypsum blades. Every formation is naturally unique in shape, petal arrangement, and size. A popular choice for bulk displays, decorative bowls, and wholesale gifting.

Desert Rose is a naturally occurring formation of Selenite (gypsum — calcium sulphate dihydrate) combined with sand inclusions, formed through the evaporation of shallow saltwater lakes in arid desert environments. The distinctive petal-like blades form radially around a central point as gypsum crystals grow and trap sand particles within their structure. Desert Rose formations are found in desert regions worldwide, including Morocco, Algeria, Mexico, and Australia. Also known as Sand Rose, Selenite Rose, or Gypsum Rose.
