Trolleite Tumbled 1-3cm
Naturally tumbled Trolleite in a 1–3cm size range, displaying a beautiful mix of blue-grey, teal, and deep navy tones with a smooth, polished finish and a degree of translucency on lighter pieces. Each piece varies in colour depth and form. A genuinely rare and collectible mineral that is increasingly sought after by crystal enthusiasts for its distinctive colouring and relative scarcity.
Trolleite is a rare aluminium phosphate mineral first identified in Sweden in 1868 and named after Swedish chemist Hans Gabriel Trolle-Wachtmeister. It is typically found in granite pegmatites and metamorphic rocks, and is characterised by its blue to blue-green colouring. Trolleite is often found in association with quartz, lazulite, and scorzalite, and specimens from Brazil — the primary commercial source — frequently contain inclusions of these companion minerals, contributing to the variation in colour and patterning between individual pieces.
In crystal traditions, Trolleite is associated with intuition, mental clarity, and a sense of higher awareness. Many people are drawn to it for its calming blue tones and its reputation as a stone that supports deep reflection and clear thinking. It is often connected to the Third Eye and Throat Chakras in crystal practice.
