Tektite Tumble
Natural Tektite specimens — jet black, glassy fragments with irregular angular forms, sharp edges, and a high-gloss surface. Tektites are naturally occurring glass formed by the intense heat and pressure generated during meteorite impacts, which melts and ejects terrestrial rock material that then solidifies mid-air. The result is a distinctive, lightweight glass with a characteristic pitted and sculpted surface texture.
These specimens display the typical Tektite morphology: irregular, angular shapes with concave surface depressions and a mirror-like black glass finish. Each piece is a genuine natural specimen, approximately 2–2.5cm.
