Taiji Jade 3-3.5cm

Naturally tumbled Taiji Jade in a 3–3.5cm size, displaying a striking two-tone contrast of deep forest green to near-black and creamy beige within a single smooth, oval-polished stone. The distinct colour zoning gives each piece its characteristic Yin Yang appearance. Also known as Yin Yang Jade, each stone varies in the balance and distribution of the two tones. Taiji Jade is a naturally occurring variety of nephrite or serpentine jade displaying contrasting dark and light mineral zones within the same stone. The dark colouring comes from iron and magnesium-rich mineral content, while the lighter cream to beige zones reflect a lower concentration of these minerals. Found in several jade-producing regions including Myanmar, Australia, and New Zealand, the two-tone patterning is entirely natural and varies between individual specimens.
