Dragon Blood Jasper Tumbled 2cm - 2.5cm
Naturally tumbled Dragon Blood Jasper in a 2–2.5cm size, displaying a deep olive to forest green base with vivid red and burgundy patches distributed throughout the stone. Each piece varies in the balance of green and red tones and the distribution of colour patches, making every stone visually distinct. A striking choice for crystal collections, display bowls, and nature-inspired decorative styling.
Dragon Blood Jasper is a variety of epidote-rich stone found primarily in Western Australia, composed of green epidote (calcium aluminium iron silicate) with red piemontite (a manganese-bearing epidote) creating the characteristic two-tone colouring. Despite the name, it is not a true jasper (which is a form of chalcedony) but is commonly marketed under this trade name. The vivid red patches are caused by iron and manganese oxide inclusions within the epidote matrix, and the intensity of colour varies depending on mineral concentration in each specimen.
