Lepidolite Petalite 2.5-3cm
Naturally tumbled Lepidolite with Petalite in a 2.5–3cm size, displaying a warm dusty rose to mauve-pink colouring with creamy white patches where the two minerals meet. Each piece varies in the balance of pink and white tones, giving every stone its own distinct character. A popular choice for crystal collections, display bowls, and decorative styling.
Lepidolite is a lithium-rich mica mineral (potassium lithium aluminium silicate) known for its characteristic lavender to dusty rose colouring, which comes from trace amounts of manganese. The name derives from the Greek word for scale, referencing its layered, scaly appearance. Petalite (lithium aluminium silicate) is a rare lithium feldspar mineral, typically colourless to pale grey or white, and forms in lithium-rich pegmatite deposits. The two minerals occur together naturally in lithium-bearing pegmatites.
