Green Fluorite Tumbled
Naturally tumbled Green Fluorite in a small 1.5–2cm size, displaying a translucent to semi-transparent body with colour zoning ranging from pale mint to deeper emerald green. Each stone varies in tone and transparency, with natural internal fracture lines and colour banding characteristic of genuine Fluorite. A popular choice for crystal collections, display bowls, and decorative styling.
Fluorite is a halide mineral (calcium fluoride) and one of the most colour-variable minerals in the world. Green Fluorite gets its colouring from trace amounts of chlorine or other impurities within the crystal lattice. It forms in hydrothermal veins and is found in significant deposits in China, Mexico, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. Fluorite is notable for its perfect octahedral cleavage and glassy lustre.
