Mookaite Tumbled 2.5–3.5cm
These Mookaite tumbled stones combine mustard-yellow, burgundy-red, cream and earthy brown tones, with some pieces showing contrasting patches and flowing bands. Polished into smooth, rounded shapes and measuring approximately 2.5–3.5cm, each stone displays its own mix of rich colour and pattern.
Commonly sold as Mookaite Jasper, this silica-rich rock comes from the Mooka Creek area of the Kennedy Ranges in Western Australia. It formed from ancient marine sediments containing the remains of microscopic organisms called radiolarians, giving this colourful Australian material a fascinating geological history.
In crystal traditions, Mookaite is associated with grounding, motivation and confidence in making decisions. It is often chosen for intentions around moving beyond hesitation, embracing new experiences and balancing a sense of adventure with steady judgement.
Colour, pattern, shape and size vary between pieces. Some stones feature a single dominant shade, while others combine several colours.
Crystal properties are based on traditional and spiritual beliefs and are not intended as medical advice.
