Poppy Jasper Tumble
Polished Poppy Jasper tumbled stones with a vivid warm red-orange base and bold swirling patterns of cream, dark brown, and black inclusions throughout. The high-gloss polish enhances the stone's natural colour saturation and reveals the intricate internal patterning characteristic of Poppy Jasper. Sold per stone, approximately 2–2.5cm.
Poppy Jasper is a variety of orbicular Jasper (a microcrystalline Quartz) found primarily in California, USA. Its distinctive circular or swirling patterns are formed by mineral-rich fluids moving through the silica matrix during formation. The warm red-orange colour is caused by iron oxide (hematite) content within the stone.
